Hello, my name is Reagan Mann, the current owner of Mann's Best Friends.

I graduated from Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa in 2022 and finished Highland K9's Master Dog Trainer Program in 2023.
My sisters and I were always animal lovers, but our gift was working with dogs and their owners. We began Mann's Best Friends in 2007 as three young girls who were more than a little excited to have a dog of our own. In order to prove to our parents we were responsible enough to care for a real living creature, we handed out flyers to all of our neighbors hoping to walk their dogs. For nine years we exercised, trained, and boarded our client's pets - all the while developing our technique and business methods for today!

Since 2015, I have been running our business solo with an emphasis on boarding and training. Our goal today is to provide an incredible experience for animals and owners. From small beginnings, we’ve added a range of services, making us highly flexible and able to cater to each of our client's needs. We specialize in fine details, flexibility, and giving owners peace of mind knowing their four-legged companions are in safe, loving hands. ​

In 2023, I traveled to North Carolina to take Highland K9's Master Dog Trainer program. There I was blessed with the opportunity to train a wide range of skills for all sorts of pet and working dogs including Detection, Trailing, Apprehension, Public Access, Autism Assistance Tasks, Mobility and Stability Tasks, and Behavior Modification of all kinds. ​

Today I run Mann's Best Friends out of my home, which offers visitors a warm environment to keep dogs comfortable and stress-free during their boarding stay or training session. I also travel to meet clients out in public or in their homes to ensure their goals are being met.
